Harajuku Mini is featured in the Target newsletter this week that is distributed to it’s employees. They have a small article in there, nothing new, but they do include two shots of products we haven’t seen before. It looks like I see a cute white jacket with the hamburger Harajuku Mini logo on the right hand side and another backpack featuring the nerdy girls. The line hits Target stores and online this November and then again in January! I transcribed the article below.
There’s really no denying that Target is the No. 1 destination for value-priced designer fashion this fall — look for iconic names like Missoni, Josie Natori, Albertus Swanepoel and Dana Kellin. And now, Gwen Stefani joins our fall lineup with the launch of her Harajuku Mini collection for babies, kids, and tweens — a spinoff of her successful apparel and accessories collection, Harajuku Lovers.
Inspired by Japanese street style and infused with a Pop Art aesthetic, Harajuku Mini is about “being creative, expressing your own indivuality and having fun getting dressed,” says Stefani. “Harajuku Mini is a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the super cute and playful kids’ clothing you find in Japan.”
Harajuku Mini for Target will be available in Target stores and at Target.com in two installments. November and again in January, and pieces will range in price from $3.99 to $29.99.
