No Doubt’s celebrated third album Tragic Kingdom came in at #67 on Billboard‘s 200 Greatest Albums of All Time list. The rankings were based on “actual performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200″ and “an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at lower rungs earning the least.”

Tragic Kingdom spent an impressive 8 weeks at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 in December 1996. In April 2004, the album had sold over 16 million copies making it one of the world’s best selling albums. (Whoa!)

The album still continues to inspire fans and listeners and recently celebrated it’s 20th anniversary last month. For more Tragic Kingdom goodies, check out our special TK20 section where we featured look backs and poll results in honor of the album’s milestone anniversary.
