Source: No Doubt Starting Work On New Album In Middle Of January

Finally! We’ve been waiting for the first real news of the new year — sources at mirror.co.uk are saying that No Doubt are finally out of their “funk” and are starting to work on the new album from the middle of January… which I’m assuming is when Gwen is back from St. Barts. How exciting! The article doesn’t mention anything else, and I guess we already knew what was going on, but it’s nice to have a date said.

I have good news for fans of No Doubt – they’re finally heading back into the studio to record a brand new album after a six year break from recording.

Sources tell me Gwen Stefani, right, and the boys have finally gotten rid of their troublesome writer’s block and they’re ready to lay down new material. The source says: “Gwen’s had her second child and is back on form without anything playing on her mind so they’ll start on a new album from the middle of January. They’re excited about working together again.” So am I!
