Poll: “X Marks The Spot” Vs. “What’s Cookin’?”

For a new featured poll, we’re curious which live old-school opener from No Doubt was your favorite. The band has incorporated iconic covers (including “The Imperial March” from Star Wars and Dr. Dre’s “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang”) as set openers but they also performed originals like “X Marks The Spot” (1992-1993) and “What’s Cookin’?” (1994-1996) (also known as “He’s A Cleaner/Clean One”). Though neither of these songs have been released in their partial or full forms, they are really neat to listen to and sure bring back memories.

  1. “What’s Cookin’?” intro reminds me a bit of “Big Spender”. It’d be amazing if they released some of those old demos / unreleased / live tracks.
