No Doubt is taking a great reggae group out on the road with them this summer, Bedouin Soundclash, they are amazing and BSO is huge fans of thiers! I wanted to share a short clip of our favorite song “Criminal” live so everyone can get a feel for them.
Also, chartattack.com posted a new article about them joining the band on tour this summer.
No Doubt will hit the road again this summer after a near five-year hiatus.
No dates have been announced, but singer Gwen Stefani, guitarist Tom Dumont, bassist Tony Kanal and drummer Adrian Young will take openers Paramore with them on tour for all of the dates.
Another opening slot will be shared by Kingston, Ont. reggae-pop band Bedouin Soundclash, Swedish pop group The Sounds and Atlanta, Ga. urban artist Janelle Monae.
“The whole reason for going on this tour was to have fun, try on all our favourite songs again and to get inspired to make new music,” Stefani said, according to VH1.com. “It feels good to be together again.”
The tour will launch in May and will mostly hit arenas and outdoor venues. No Doubt last toured in 2004 with Blink-182. The Orange County, Calif. quartet are also scheduled to play the Bamboozle Festival in May.
No Doubt have repeatedly said they’re working on new material, but none of it has come to light and there are no plans to release a new album anytime soon. Their last record was 2001’s Rock Steady.
Stefani, who’s married to former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, released her Love. Angel. Music. Baby solo debut in 2004. It was followed two years later by The Sweet Escape.
Dumont, Kanal and Young all played on Scott Weiland’s latest solo venture, last year’s Happy In Galoshes.
