Band Awarded Certificate from Charity: Water

Wow! Back in 2009, fans might remember that No Doubt auctioned off meet and greet packages during their 2009 summer tour via eBay that benefited charities of the band’s choice, including Charity: Water, a charity close to Tom’s heart. Charity: Water is a non-profit organization that is dedicated on bringing safe and clean drinking water to people around the world.

Recently the band had been presented with a “Certificate of Completion” stating that through everyone’s contributions, No Doubt was able to provide over 1,260 people in Akwali, Uganda with fresh drinking water. Truly amazing and inspiring.

No Doubt shared photos of their certificate and the letter they received from the organization thanking them for what they have contributed. The band also thanks the fans for helping them reach out to Charity: water.

No Doubt — During No Doubt’s 2009 Summer Tour, the band auctioned personal meet & greets to raise money for charity. Gwen, Tony, Tom & Adrian split the proceeds equally between four organizations that are important to them. Tom’s choice was charity: water, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.

The band just received a “Certificate of Completion” from charity: water and wanted to share it with everyone who helped make the auction a success. No Doubt’s donation went directly to Akwali, Uganda to provide clean and safe drinking water to over 1,260 people in the community. The band would like to thank the fans for their generosity in helping make this donation possible.
