The media is buzzing heavily right after the band’s announcement of their new album’s title, Push and Shove (out September 25), and first single, “Settle Down”, out July 16! Everyone seems to be just as excited as we are around here and it’s only going to get more intense! No Doubt is currently filming their first video in over 9 years for “Settle Down” starting today with director Sophie Muller!

Rolling Stone — No Doubt have revealed on their website that their first album in a decade will be titled Push and Shove, to be released on September 25th. According to the band’s message, they are still in the process of finishing the record but will film a video for the record’s first single, “Settle Down,” later this week. The clip will be directed by the group’s longtime collaborator Sophie Muller, who made the videos for many of their singles including “Don’t Speak,” “Excuse Me Mr.,” “Sunday Morning,” “Hey You,” “Simple Kind of Life,” “Bathwater” and “Underneath It All.” The “Settle Down” video will debut on July 16th.

Push and Shove has been in the works for some time now. The record was originally promised for a 2009 release, but according to singer Gwen Stefani, life got in the way of those plans. “A lot of stuff happened during that time period,” singer Gwen Stafani told Rolling Stone last June. “Marriages, babies and, for me, two records and two clothing lines. So if you really worked out the math, you’d be like, ‘Wow, you guys are going fast.'”

MTV — No Doubt are finally ramping up the hype machine for their first album in more than a decade. On Monday, they revealed the title of the follow-up to 2001’s Rock Steady, posting a note to fans on their website with the details.

“Hope you are sitting down because we’ve got some really big news to share with you,” they wrote. “While adding the finishing touches to our new album we realized it was time to name it … so we did, and the name is … (drum roll please) … Push and Shove!!!”

The album, due out on September 25, will be preceded by the single “Settle Down,” which is slated for release on July 16. The band said they are filming a video for “Down” this week with longtime friend and collaborator Sophie Muller (“Don’t Speak,” “Underneath It All,” “Simple Kind of Life”).

“We can’t wait to share it all with you. See you out there soon,” they added. Gwen Stefani and the boys are expected to make their live performance debut of the song at the July 22 Teen Choice Awards. The appearance will be their first performance since wrapping a summer tour with Paramore
in 2009 and a pair of Bridge School benefit shows in October of that year.

In addition to working with producer Mike “Spike” Stent (Madonna, U2, Lady Gaga) they’ve also hooked up with Diplo and Switch, who helped out on the album’s title track. Other tunes that could end up on the album include “Undone,” “Heaven” and “One More Summer.”

NME — No Doubt have revealed that their long-awaited new studio album will be titled ‘Push And Shove’ and that it will be released in September.

The US band, who are fronted by singer Gwen Stefani, had previously revealed that their new LP will be released on September 25 in the US and September 24 in the UK, and, have now given the album a title. The album will be preceded by a single, which is titled ‘Settle Down’ and which will be released on July 16.

Writing on their official website, the band announced their new album by saying: “Hope you are sitting down because we’ve got some really big news to share with you! While adding the finishing touches to our new album we realised it was time to name it, so we did, and the name is ‘Push and Shove’.

The band had originally intended to release the follow-up to their 2001 effort ‘Rock Steady’ before Christmas last year, but revealed in September that they had pushed back its release date so they could “make sure it’s the best album we can possibly make”.

Other tracks which have been slated to appear on the record previously included ‘Undercover’, ‘Easy’, ‘Heaven’ and ‘Dreaming The Same Dream’, although the band are yet to reveal any of the album’s tracklisting.

They previously revealed that they were working with production team Major Lazer, aka super producers Switch and Diplo, as part of the album sessions.

Idolator — Good news, No Doubt fans! The band have announced the title of their upcoming sixth studio album and its release date: Push and Shove will be released on September 25. (The band previewed the song “Push and Shove” in their first studio webisode back in May.)

But that’s not all. Gwen Stefani & co. have named the first single — “Settle Down” — and it’s coming to an airwave near you on July 16, then for a live performance on the Teen Choice Awards on July 22, to be followed shortly by a music video directed by Sophie Muller, who took the reins on the visuals for “Don’t Speak,” “Underneath It All,” “Sunday Morning” and “Simple Kind of Life”.
