DREAMCAR shared in a new teaser trailer that their music video for debut single “Kill For Candy” is set to premiere this Monday, April 3, on their Vevo channel. The clip highlights members of the band in separate segments then meeting up on-set which resembles their first photo shoot with Steve Erle. We’re extremely excited and cannot wait to check out the video!

The band is also featured in this Sunday’s print edition of OC Register with a new interview (and photo!) where they open up about their firsts and heading out on the road starting next week. Tony admits that the band’s recent trip to KROQ was emotional for him due to the history that No Doubt has had with the station over the years. “Obviously it’s a different project, but we have a lot of history at KROQ so I had a lot of emotional moments that day. It is a big deal and I don’t take that for granted. We’re all very grateful for that.
DREAMCAR kicks off their mini-spring in Orange County’s Santa Ana next week which the band calls a “happy accident”. Tom says that it’s exciting to be playing their debut show in their hometown and shares that singer Davey Havok also has roots in OC, too. “It’s going to be fun to be close and face-to-face with everyone.” Tony also points out that it’s the first time in long awhile that himself, Tom and Adrian have performed in small clubs. “There’s something about the energy in small rooms that’s just beautiful, so I’m looking forward to that.”

The OC Register article points out that even though DREAMCAR has “big plans in the works for this year”, No Doubt is here to stay. Tom went on to stay that the band is as close as family as their bonds to each other could never be broken. Adrian also commented saying, “There will always be No Doubt” but continued by saying that the band still has no immediate plans for the future. We truly appreciate opportunities like this for the guys to confirm the status of our favorite band and it’s exciting to hear that No Doubt is always here to stay.
Tom also shared on Twitter that news and announcements are on the way from DREAMCAR in the coming week! We’re anticipating possible album pre-order news and additional tour dates for the east coast. Stay tuned and we’ll share the latest once news is announced.
