Happy (Late) Anniversary The Singles And Everything In Time

We would like to wish No Doubt’s releases The Singles (1992-2003) and Everything In Time (B-Sides, Rarities, Remixes) a happy 8th anniversary! The two albums (plus the limited edition Boom Box, Live in the Tragic Kingdom DVD and The Videos (1992-2003) DVD were also released) back on November 25, 2003. The Singles included a new cover from the band, “It’s My Life”, that reached #10 on the Billboard charts and the song was nominated for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal at the 47th Grammy Awards. Jacques Lu Cont, the song’s programmer, created the Thin White Duke mix of “It’s My Life”, which won the award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical. Gwen has also mentioned that it’s one of the most difficult songs to perform live, but fun.

Everything In Time contains B-sides from the Return of Saturn era and a couple leftovers from the Rock Steady recording sessions. The Rock Steady remixes were also intended to be intermissions on Rock Steady but were taken out cause the album didn’t flow properly. A lot of fans consider Everything In Time one of their favorite albums cause some of the b-sides are considered classic. Most of them were already found on Return of Saturn singles and were also circulated online in the early 2000s, still it was very cool to finally have them all in one place. The booklet also included some never before seen outtakes from popular photo shoots.
