On today’s edition of Flashback Friday, we’re looking back at one of No Doubt fans most loved television specials, VH1’s Storytellers. Storytellers was broadcasted on October 28, 2000 and the band treated fans to not only stories behind their biggest singles at the time, but a few original versions of both “Don’t Speak” and “Ex-Girlfriend”. No Doubt sounded incredible. Eric Stefani appeared as a special guest and performed a live and rare televised version of “Trapped In A Box” that closed the show.

Throwback from the summer of 2000 when I won tickets on #KROQ to see a taping of VH1’s Storytellers featuring #NoDoubt. .. It was an unforgettable day as we were privileged to meet the entire band. Took this picture with #tonykanal and my cuz @ddub177 at #adrianyoung’s house after the show. #tbt

  1. Their performance of TIAB with Eric is one of my favorites. I wish they would have performed the whole version of the original DS. It’s so pretty and such good quality.
