For this week’s Flashback Friday, we’re looking back at No Doubt’s live set from Stockholm, Sweden back on March 20, 1997. The concert was shown on television and featured clips of interviews with Tom and Gwen prior to the show. No Doubt toured Europe in early 1997 and Gwen says that the audiences had blown her away.
Gwen and Tom spoke about the early days of No Doubt and what the band did together before making it big. Tom shared that the band were together most days out of the week and would write and record music. “There is just a weird chemistry between us,” he said saying that the band has always been the best of friends. When asked if they missed their friends back at home, Gwen says that all of their main friends were there on tour (each other) and she found it a little funny how much they enjoyed spending time with one another.
