Flashback Friday: Live in Los Angeles 2002

For this week’s edition of Flashback Friday, we’re looking back at No Doubt’s rocking set during their first stop in Los Angeles, California on their MTV TRL Rock Steady club tour back on March 27, 2002.

The band were promoting their new album Rock Steady and incorporated most of their new material including “Don’t Let Me Down”, “Detective” and “In My Head”. They also treated fans to a few favorites from past albums such as “Happy Now?” and “Total Hate”. Enjoy!

  1. gwyneth paltrow & cameron diaz were there right in the front dancing. id never seen so many celebs in my life, pink, christina agulera, dave ghrol, marilyn manson

  2. If making out was released today it could be huge! Just needs the right promotion. I saw them perform it live once, all though the break down was diffent live. Song never got its dues.

  3. I was there too! I remember having like 6 rolls of film in my pockets and the hardest part was changing them during the set. Good times!

  4. I would have totally loved to have been there for this performance. The band just seem so effervescent and enjoying themselves. I am jealous.

  5. I’m so glad I got to see them on the RS tour. They were clearly having so much fun. I hope the next album will be upbeat.
