For this week’s edition of Flashback Friday, we’re looking back at the first half of No Doubt’s set for KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas held in Los Angeles, California back on December 5, 1997.
It was their second appearance at the festival and No Doubt rocked the radio stage and performed hits from their monster album Tragic Kingdom including “Sunday Morning”, “Happy Now?”, their beloved Sublime cover of “DJs” and the band’s take on The Vandal’s Christmas punk classic, “Oi To The World”. The live version of “Spiderwebs” from this show was featured on KROQ’s release of The Best of the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas.
This was the last show the band performed at in 1997 and wrapped up their Tragic Kingdom tour.
You can check out backstage photos from the show here.
