Its Flashback Friday! We’re back this week with a special look at No Doubt’s set during the two-day Bridge School Benefit held in Mountain View, California back on October 24 and 25, 2009. We were inspired to do this post based from the band’s recent acoustic rehearsals.

Introduced by comedian and actor Adam Sandler, the band performed an all-acoustic set including an intimate and rare addition of “Magic’s In The Makeup” and an alternate take on “Bathwater” that fans hadn’t been treated to before. No Doubt also joined onstage for a special performance with Neil Young for “Comes A Time” during the show’s closing number.

Both live performances of “Spiderwebs” and “Magic’s In The Makeup” were included for sale in The Bridge School Benefit 25 Anniversary Boxset which sold on Amazon and iTunes. All proceeds from the sales when to the Bridge School, which helps children around the country with severe handicaps.

  1. I love love love this so much!!! I have been in the field of Special Ed for 10 years now and seeing Gwen in JAG going in w the students and seeing their faces is just so amazing!!! Very touching!!!!!! I wish they came to my school 🙂

  2. The one performance of SKOL where Gwen gets choked up is a favorite. It made me appreciate the song a lot more. It has such a special meaning to her.
