Music Setlist: L.A.M.B. Spring 2011 Runway Show

Gwen has always had excellent taste in music! The following videos are the music she used during the L.A.M.B. Spring 2011 fashion show last night. Enjoy!

CBS News — ”Models strutted down the runway in spike heels to a party mix, which included songs with popping beats like Luniz’s classic Bay Area song, “I Got 5 On It,” MIA’s “Paper Planes,” Dawn Penn’s reggae hit “No, No, No, “and MGMT’s “Kids.”

Luniz, “I Got 5 On It”

M.I.A., “Paper Planes”

Dawn Penn, “No, No, No (You Don’t Love Me)”

MGMT, “Kids”

Both “Rock Steady” remixes (“A Real Love Survives” and “A Rock Steady Vibe”) found on Everything In Time were played, as well as “Hey Baby” during Gwen’s final bow.

Tony confirmed more titles from the show — and he also mentioned he helped Gwen pick out the music for the runway. Tony says that the band have been listening to these songs to get inspired for the new album. Love it! Santigold and old school reggae — this is going to be so good!

Althea and Donna, “Uptown Top Ranking”

Santigold, “I’m A Lady” (Diplo Mix)

“Now That You Got It” was included as well!

  1. “I Got 5 on It” samples “Why You Treat Me So Bad” by Club Nouveau, which Gwen herself said was one her all time favorite songs and it was also of the biggest inspirations behind the Love.Angel.Music.Baby album. Amazing.

  2. On the l-a-m-b website, under the videos — The Uptown Top Ranking song sounds like it’s a remix of Uptown Top Ranking and I’m Still In Love With You (Boy) combined. Or it’s a remix of both songs covered.
Have any idea which remix, by who and whatnot?
