*Chris Leal was a good friend of the band who filled in till they found a full-time bass player in Tony Kanal.

*Jerry McMahon, whom is cousins with original bassist Chris Leal, left the band when Tom started jamming with No Doubt after responding to a flyer.

*Eric Stefani departed No Doubt in 1994 after differences in the band’s direction during the Tragic Kingdom recording sessions. Eric went on to fulfill a career in animation, most notably for The Simpsons. Eric still collaborated with No Doubt on their Return of Saturn album with “Staring Problem”.

**Eric Carpenter left No Doubt to pursue a degree in Journalism from Cal State Fullerton. As of 2014, Eric is writing for Orange County Register.

***Phil Jordan quit the band and returned to school after recording tracks for Tragic Kingdom.
