NST Perfume — Gwen Stefani will launch a new set of limited edition Harajuku Lovers fragrances next month under the name Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style:

The Harajuku Girls and G have made their way back to where it all started, the streets of Harajuku! One of their favorite places to see and be seen in Harajuku is Takeshita-Dori – a narrow pedestrian only street packed with young fashionable people. Takeshita-Dori is definitely the place to go if you are crazy about fashion…and the Harajuku Girls and G are certainly CRAZY about their fashion!

The girl’s [sic] are prowling the streets of Harajuku dressed in fashions that originated in Japan – Sweet Lolita, Gothic Lolita, Visual Kei, Kawaii and the Omotesandō Girl. Each girl has her own distinct “wicked style” that is expressed from her brightly colored “flocked” hair down to her super cute shoes.

Love (shown above far left) ~ A fruity floral by perfumer Maurice Roucel with notes of nectarine, mangosteen, pear, orange blossom, lotus, violet, osmanthus, blonde woods, musk, sandalwood, patchouli and praline. “This Lolita look is heavily influenced by Rococo styles. It consists primarily of a knee length skirt or dress, headdress, blouse, petticoat, knee high socks, and ‘rocking horse’ shoes.”

Lil Angel (above second to left) ~ A sparkling floral by perfumer Celine Barel with notes of plum, champagne, bergamot, pomelo, lotus, Queen rose leaf, waterlilies, satin wood, amber and skin musks. “The gothic fashion has been adopted into this Lolita style through the use of darker make-up, clothing and themes. Dark lipstick and smoky eyes are typical styles.”

Music (above second to right) ~ a woody floral by perfumer Adriana Medina with notes of apple, watery fruit, bergamot, jasmine, gardenia, fuschia, peony, cedar, iridescent musks and crystallized amber. “Music’s attire refers to a movement among Japanese musicians that is characterized by the use of make-up, elaborate hair styles, and flamboyant costumes.”

Baby (above far right not shown) ~ A vanilla floral by perfumer Honorine Blanc with notes of white peach, apple, freesia, plumeria, orchid, jasmine, amber, musk and creamy sandalwood. “The style uses lots of layering in bright or pastel colors. The accessories include plastic furry toys and jewelry.”

G (above center) ~ A fruity floral by perfumer Christelle Laprade with notes of apple, peach, pineapple, watermelon, butterfly bush, peony, raspberry, musk and water accord. “Driven to be a fashion forward individual, the Omotesandō girl scours the high end and cutting edge shops and boutiques of Omotesandō – otherwise known as ‘Tokyo’s Champs-Elyséés.’”

The Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style fragrances will be available in 10 and 30 ml Eau de Toilette. (via press release)
