Pop icon Britney Spears mentioned how much she would love to collaborate with Gwen again last night during a live online chat. Around 1:15 in the clip, Britney reads a fan question asking what other female acts would be love to duet with. After mentioning Lady Gaga, Britney is reminded of Gwen and said she’s “very cool” and how they could rock the red lipstick together.
Britney has mentioned several times over the years how much she’s loved Gwen and would want to work with her.
Thanks Brianna for the link!

i’d die for it
This new cd of her is so boring. Her voice sounds so strange… Well, bring Britney bitch back and then she can work w Gwen! Hahaha
I thought she wanted to retire after the Las Vegas thing? I really don’t think either Britney or Gaga are Gwen’s kind of thing tbh.
its britney b1tch, i love the song gimme more, is so hot and intense, she should make a new hit like that for in a duo with G
I say bring in Gwen, Britney and Gaga on one track!!! game over 😉
So, nobody is good enough for Gwen…
It would be cool if she collaborated with Robyn for example. Madonna or Kylie Minogue could also be interesting.
A collaboration with Britney would be amazing! I think it could be really, really good. Britney is very underrated as an artist.
A collaboration w Shirley Manson or Robyn would be nice too!!
You mean with Garbage… Shirley has tried for a solo once and it did not fly.
Why not with a male singer or a rock band? Stop thinink about Pop female singers.
That would be ok for me.
We are talking about female artists only because of Rita… lol
Well, I think she’d sound amazing with Brandon Flowers, Robert Smith, Vampire Weekend, Justin Timberlake, Franz Ferdinand or Rufus Wainwright.
I’d love to hear Gwen on a The Killers track! This whole 80s thing… it’s seems like a perfect match! Brandon also did a very nice duet on his solo album with Jenny Lewis and I’ve always thought Gwen would’ve sounded great on that track. Santigold would also be an amazing collaborator, or maybe Imagine Dragons.
People are mentioning these females solo artist collaborations primarily because of the chart success of these females I guess and to be honest I really do desire some big chart success from Gwen’s future work.. Gwen could work with anybody but I guess it is being done in attempt to be successful rather than just a passion for music?
I remember year ago, before Gwen had her big come back– and BS was topping the charts… there was a musical countdown show and Don’t Speak was listed for some count down. All BS could say was, “I like how pouty she is.” and nothing else. I think he didn’t know at the time what a big deal Gwen is… but hopefully now she sees, and isn’t trying to hop on the bandwagon.
years* ago….
