Dave was lucky enough to be front-row during Gwen’s tour stop last night in Noblesville, Indiana and shared a few photos from the show as well as a rad video of “Rich Girl” with Eve.

We’ll be heading out to a few shows in the next couple of weeks including Detroit, Toronto, Chicago and Seattle so make sure to say hi!

  1. Dave didn’t by chance get a picture of gwen when she put the hat on? Im searching around to see if anyone in that pit last night took pics of it. I gave her the hat but I friend and I weren’t abe to get a good picture of her wearing it.

    1. Agree! I was there and it was packed and the crowd was amazing! This venue seats like 24,000 and I feel like this concert locale did not get as much notice, press and credit unlike all the others and most were much smaller. Glad to see the coverage and thread here and I will write more soon.

  2. Sorry I am just now getting this written but I so agree with Jonathan it was a great crowd and sooo fun! Huge place that was packed to like 23, 000 plus, so think may be the biggest one. I could see no grass showing as I looked back there even. Everyone sang and danced and seemed to know all the words to all the songs. The biggest reception was for the songs you would expect, her old ones and ND ones and the songs that are the best known of her new ones. Plus the ones she does with Eve got a huge reaction and so did Asking 4 it. When I heard the first few bars of Cool I almost cried, just to hear my all time fav live.
I noticed Gwen said ” I love this song” before she sang it in Kansas City last nite.
Her performance, energy, vocals were all on point and she really is sooo amazing that as I was leaving I thought I have to go to another one to see everything I missed. It goes so fast it was hard to see all the background videos, watch her, the band, dancers, and the crowd reaction. For such a huge amphitheater there were no screens up, so I didn’t get to see her facial expressions…so I wish I had gotten better seats. The grass had big screens back there. I felt like the stage was too small for such a big place and needed more room for all the dancers, band and all. Could be cause it was the Klipsch center and they had gigantic speakers of the same name that took up a big part of the stage.Plus from the very beginning and throughout I felt like everything was so fast it was almost like she was trying to speed thru it and maybe get it over for some reason. I felt like she came out mad about something, and kinda stayed that way…nothing crowd related. She didn’t bring anyone up on stage and mentioned that Kingston took his first steps there at a past concert in Indy but that’s it. I don’t live there so don’t have an interest in indy but that would be the only complaint I have that there was maybe not as much interaction with the crowd that nite as I have seen her do in the other cities. Also there is a pre- planned three song encore but I noticed no one was leaving after that, like not even inching toward the exits so on nites like that maybe give them one extra song.
As far as song selection when you see the concert you get why the songs were chosen and in the order they are performed, it is about pacing, and crowd frenzy building and all that and it all works. The exception would be Harajuku Girls. Crowd on a real high, she leaves to change clothes and then comes out and does that song and it breaks the momentum, but I understand there is a big contingent who wants to hear it.
If you are debating whether to go to a concert– go!! Like I said I came away srsly trying to find a way to go to another one. I doubt I can but really wish I had scheduled for Los Angeles at The Forum…but I would love to go.
Oh and her outfits, I loved loved all of them except the one with the regular jeans that’s black and red top. It doesn’t translate well in pix or live. The others are fab. The green one sparkles amazingly and her back fringe looks like it is lit up so sparkly!
I bought a t shirt and they are really nice and have a little Lycra in them good quality and run a little big.
This is a little wordy and wish I had a chance to write earlier while everything was super fresh in my mind. My biggest takeaway is these younger artists really could learn a lot from Gwen and I mean all of them. I’ve seen Taylor and other artists have bigger productions, special effects and more dance choreography, but none command the stage, maintain great vocals and spend as much energy as she does.

      1. Happy for you!! Now it’s less than a week for you! In the weeks leading up to going it was crazy then the week before it seemed surreal cause I felt like I had the tix for so long and it was finally days away.
I think you will have a great concert, I heard she said Austin was her last concert trip on the tour bus so she will be flying everywhere– so she should be rested. With the kids on a tour bus this long– mom of the year for sure!

    1. Loved your review Jill!! It inspired me to write one of my own for the Toronto show, the only reason I didn’t was because it was literally too much to take in… being my 1st Gwen concert and then being up on stage. But I’m gonna take the time to do it as I had so much fun reading yours! 😀

      1. Thanks so much Ed! I totally understand cause it took me over two weeks to write mine and as I read it now it’s nothing like what I really meant to say and write. I’m like was I really there cause I’m writing about the stupid venue instead of the magical Gwen. I just don’t think I could find the right words….
I’ll look forward to reading yours !
