Gwen Stefani will bring her eclectic style to two chic Atlanta hotels starting this December.
Stefani’s L.A.M.B. clothing label has been commissioned by nightlife gurus The Gerber Group to design sexy new uniforms for female servers in its Living Room lounges at W Atlanta Midtown and W Atlanta Buckhead, the label and Gerber Group officials announced Wednesday.
L.A.M.B., an acronym for Love Angel Music Baby, the title of one of Stefani’s albums, has produced multiple outfits for the 15 Gerber Group Living Room lounges. The new look will also appear at Gerber Group lounges inside W hotels in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico City and New Orleans, the companies said.
“I wanted to design a super cute dress that I would be excited to have in my own closet and approached it in the same way I think about my clothing for a tour,†Stefani said in a news release. “We’ve designed a sexy and comfortable outfit for these women to wear out on their own stage every night.â€
The uniform is a skimpy black dress with design details channeling both the 1960s and 1980s, according to the release.
The W Buckhead, which opens late this fall, and the W Midtown, which opened in May, are owned Atlanta-based Noble Investment Group LLC. W is a brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. (NYSE: HOT).
The trademark of W Hotels is cool and cutting edge design that’s distinct to each property.
“The Gerber Group and W Hotels have enjoyed a long and successful collaboration and we are both known for a cutting-edge look, feel and design,†said Rande Gerber, founder of Gerber Group. “Partnering with the sexy, stylish and sophisticated Gwen Stefani seemed like a perfect match.â€
