Access Hollywood has posted a preview of tonight’s new interview with Gwen, taken from the L’Oreal set a couple days ago. In the interview, Gwen pretty much confirms that all the baseless rumors that her and Gavin’s marriage is in trouble are what they are — rumors. She agrees that just because a tabloid posts a photo of the couple looking “stormy”, doesn’t mean that is what is going on. It should be common sense. It’s a shame that Gwen feels the need to come out about the rumors, but we really admire her courage and strength to set the record straight about her private life.

Gwen also reveals that she is filming a new commercial for L’Oreal Paris Superior Preference hair color. She also mentions that their fishing trip this last weekend was “traumatizing”, not quite sure what she means by that, but she did like some of the photos that came out of it. Though the paparazzi are annoying, she does think one plus side out of them are having nice family photos.

Access Hollywood — Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been plagued with rumors predicting an impending split between the longtime pair, but Gwen says just because the photo on the cover of a tabloid shows the duo looking stormy doesn’t mean there’s trouble in paradise.

“It doesn’t matter — you could have a picture that has nothing to do with what’s going on in a rumor and they make it look like it’s part of the rumor,” the No Doubt rocker told Access Hollywood correspondent Tim Vincent on the set of her new L’Oreal Paris Superior Preference hair color campaign commercial in Los Angeles on Monday.

The split rumors about Gwen, 42, and Gavin, 46, appear to be just that — rumors.

Just this past weekend the rock couple took their two sons, Kingston, 5, and Zuma, 3, fishing in Los Angeles and the parents shared a kiss caught on camera by paparazzi.

“Aw. That’s so cute,” Gwen said, when Tim showed her the heartwarming family photo. “Can I have that?”

“That’s the kind of picture you should have over your wall at home,” Tim said.

“That makes me so happy to look at that,” Gwen agreed.

While the singer/designer treasures family outings, she admitted fishing will not become a Stefani-Rossdale family pastime anytime soon.

“[Going fishing] was actually traumatizing,” she told Tim. “I don’t think we’ll be doing it again.”

“[Traumatizing] for the fish?” Tim asked.

“For everyone! It was just — I’d rather go to the grocery store. Sorry,” she said. “Both me and my husband were like, ‘What are we doing here right now?’”

Though having her family’s every move documented by pesky paparazzi can be trying, Gwen admitted the unwanted attention does come with a perk.

“What’s nice is even though they’re annoying, these guys that follow us around, it’s really nice having all these family photos!” she said, laughing.

  1. I guess what Gwen means by saying the fishing trip was “traumatizing” is that the Paps wouldn’t leave them alone and were constantly being photographed by them. They enjoyed the time spent together as a family but the annoying paps took some of joy out of the day for them.

  2. I think she was referring to the fact that the act of fishing is just downright dirty and kinda gross. It sounds like agreat way to spend the day, but after you stick your hand in a bucket of bait worms or have to actually unhook a fish the charm is lost.

  3. Also…am i the only one who is getting a page not found error on the gavin tennis video? I really dont want to sign up for twitter to view this!

  4. Lizzy, you are not missing much. The video clip is really only like 5 seconds long and it’s just Gavin hitting a tennis ball in their court. if you really want to check it out, I can do some research for you!

I also think she was referring to the fishing being “traumatzing” because how they word it, they are not really referring to the paps, but we will see.
