Forgive us, but we kind of thought L.A.M.B. handbags were already high end.
But apparently we were wrong because the brand is set to launch a Black Label named Aston with bags ranging from $525 to $1,495.
The Aston collection is inspired by British racing cars, as the name suggests. The eight styles will feature details like perforated and pebble-grain leather mixed with patent leather piping and suede strips, black and gray striped lining, gunmetal hardware and matte black hangtags.
“Gwen Stefani designs prints that push the envelope, and she does things that are so differentiated from the rest of the market,” Tim Schifter, chairman and chief executive officer of Schifter + Partners, told WWD. “And the crazier and more irreverent they are, the better they do. The bags really resonate with consumers and retailers.”
Limited distribution may make the bags a little harder to find than L.A.M.B.’s regular fare, but the bags will be available online at Eluxury and Vivre in addition to select Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s stores as well as Intermix and Henri Bendel.
Look for the bags this fall, but on the celebrity clientele even sooner!
