Tonight is the second night of the Battles premiere which features team’s artists going up against one another in a one-on-one battle to move on. Gwen is joined by pop star Selena Gomez in rehearsals to help mentor her team during these rounds. Last night we saw Team Gwen artists Ellie Lawrence and Tim Atlas battle it out with Ellie coming out on top. Tim was quickly stolen by Pharrell Williams and Gwen also stole Team Adam artist Regina Love after she was let go in her battle with powerhouse Jordan Smith.

We’ll update the post with highlights from the show throughout the east coast airing so avoid this post for spoilers if you’re wanting to check out it live on the west coast first. 1. on both NBC and Hulu, part two of the battles (Tuesday night’s episode) is only 43 minutes long and doesn’t include any of Gwen team?! Is that a mistake? Is that different from what was actually aired, or did she just not have a big part in this episode. I feel like they previewed things that didn’t happen!

    1. The second night (Tuesday’s episode) was only an hour long (aired from 9:00PM-10:00PM) and featured two of Gwen’s battles in a montage. It’s really disappointing with the lack of air-time of her team on TV so hopefully we see more in future episodes.
