Highlights: ‘The Voice’ – Live Playoffs Episode 15

Tonight kicks off the Live Playoffs for season nine which has artists performing for America’s votes! Team Gwen is featured tonight (and can we say how freaking gorgeous Gwen looks!) and we also are treated to a welcome comeback from Team Gwen whom will be introduced back into the competition.

Tomorrow night will feature both Pharrell and Blake’s teams and Wednesday will be the live results show. How the Playoffs work is that “with two artists from each team advancing based on the viewers’ vote” and then the coaches will then pick one additional artist to bring with them to the top 12.

We’ll update the post with highlights from the show throughout the east coast airing so avoid this post for spoilers if you’re wanting to check out it live on the west coast first. Video highlights will be added to the post once they’re shared officially by The Voice as well as the full episode once it’s available.

  10. Ok. Wait. On Jojo’s interview Gwen says the first song she wrote with Rick Nowels after the world blew on her face, You Don’t Know Me is probably not even gonna be on the record. WHAT???? “Too Personal”? Give me a break….

    The guy wrote my favourite song ever, You Get What You Give by New Radicals, this is bad news for me 🙁

  11. Well although there is no confirmation of her performing on the voice or the AMAs I sure hope she does because Used to Love You already fell of the hot 100 in its second week.

  12. I almost think it might be better if she moves on with the 2nd single. The promotion has been too scattered and Used to Love You is not believable anymore now that she is dating Blake. I wonder if her team will ever get it right…seems like since “The Sweet Escape” the promotion has always been messed up.

  13. On Playiga says she will perform the song this month. Hopefully, next week. I think it’d be a mistake to stop promotion of this song. She needs to perform it.

  14. I agree that UTLY has already lost its momentum thanks to the whole Blake thing, but still I think she should just keep on promoting it. Releasing a 2nd single while she’s still all over the news with Blake wouldn’t make any sense. I still hope she will perform UTLY on The Voice and at the AMAs, even though I doubt this song will ever be a hit. Gwen is just out of luck these days. Ever since P&S there has always been somthing that went terribly wrong: The LH video, STF and now Blake.

  15. I think she should keep going with UTLY. It’s still a great song and very relatable. I have been wondering if she will perform something different on The Voice though. UTLY wouldn’t be “exciting” enough for that audience I don’t think.

  17. Well, the ratings last night were the same as the week before so if this relationship was a PR ploy to get more viewers, it backfired. Unfortunately it hasn’t done a thing for Gwen’s single either. She needs to make up her mind on what she wants to get out of this Blake thing. If your rep says “no questions are off limits”, then answer the friggin question. If you don’t want to talk about it, then don’t release a statement about it LOL God, Gwen’s team just sucks.

  18. I won’t blame it on her team, this is all her. I agree she needs make a choice already. Its starting to look like she wants to play the guessing game on purpose for more attention. On Inside Edition they were like “Already trouble in paradise?” lol
