gx Set To Debut In Department Stores Spring 2015

According to a new article on Titan Industries (manufacturer for both L.A.M.B. footwear and more recently gx) in Footwear News, the latter is expected to hit select department stores, including Nordstrom and independent boutiques, just in time for Spring 2015. The article says that the recent release of gx on ShoeDazzle has “performed very well” on the membership driven retailer on a sales perspective and has “resonated well with clients”.

Titan CEO Joe Ouaknine says that since the line was priced around at $100, he knows that the team had to be extra creative in the sense to make the product as “great as L.A.M.B.” but at a more accessible price. He calls Gwen “the coolest person” he knows and calls her “patient” and “engaging”. He credits her talent and taste and knows that Gwen will create more buzz after joining The Voice this fall.

Gwen feels strongly about working with Titan Industries, who’ve she’s worked with for over a decade. “They work hard to execute my aesthetic and work with us to make [product] that not only has style and attitude, but are also high quality and priced as well. Before we started working on Gx, they showed me they had the ability to source and manufacture really impressive product.”

  1. This is good news, I’m glad all these fashion projects have gone down well, I thought they would but you never really tend to hear whether they’re a success or not..

  2. Gwen always had mass appeal… It’s just her price points aren’t always friendly for the regular consumer lol
