Gwen was back in NYC to speak during a special annual Nickelodeon Upfront event hosted by Nickelodeon about her animated series Kuu Kuu Harajuku. The premiere children’s network just announced that they’ve ordered a second season of the hit show also with a third season in production now.
During the event, Gwen took the stage and spoke on how she’s always wanted to create a show for kids and says that Kuu Kuu Harajuku feels right at home on Nickelodeon. She spoke with Variety during the event saying she’s surprised she’s been able to manage a project like the series. Gwen admits that she thought it was something that she would never do, creating an inspired story about her “fantasy dream posse”.

She looked adorable in a neon-printed separates dress with specs of her own design. We’re wishing her and her team the very best of luck with future seasons of Kuu Kuu Harajuku and we’re so proud of her success so far!

That is a wild outfit lol I sort of like it, but not with knee high boots. That seems to be her thing this season…
I hope she creates a video game. My daughter jumps up and dances and sings when this cartoon is on. Gwen is awesome!
