Love Our Children USA announced today the recipients of the Sixth Annual Mothers Who Make A Difference Awards, which recognize and support mothers in the celebrity and entertainment industries for balancing motherhood, work and causes around the world. Among this yearâ€™s winners are celebrity moms Christie Brinkley, Jenna Elfman, Amy Poehler and Gwen Stefani.
These celebrity moms take on vital issues around the globe, giving of themselves to better the lives of complete strangers and yet still find time to balance their work and the most difficult job of all â€“ parenting.
Ross Ellis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Love Our Children USA said â€œFor the sixth consecutive year we are delighted to honor and celebrate these selfless and caring women who contribute so much to their children, families, society and to various causes.â€
Ellis also stated â€œAt a time when our countryâ€™s youth are plagued by bullying, cyberbullying, Internet dangers, school violence and suicide â€¦not to mention those parents in need of more positive parenting solutions, these mothers serve as role models for others, as their children are their first priority.â€

In 2003, she debuted her clothing line L.A.M.B. and expanded her collection with the 2005 Harajuku Lovers line, drawing inspiration from Japanese culture and fashion. Stefani performs and makes public appearances with four back-up dancers known as the Harajuku Girls dancers. She married British musician Gavin Rossdale in 2002 and they have two sons: Kingston James McGregor Rossdale.
