Gwen Performs and Appears on ‘TODAY’ (Updated)

Gwen’s pre-taped performance of “Jingle Bells” was aired on Christmas Day and had her performing in a sparkly green pantsuit.

Gwen appeared again on TODAY this morning with another portion of her interview with Kathie Lee and Hoda to promote her highly-anticipated holiday special airing tonight on NBC. She chatted about her new album, boyfriend Blake Shelton and how they cherish spending time together away from it all.

Gwen kicked off her week of NYC promo this morning with special performances of “When I Was a Little Girl”, “Santa Baby” and “Christmas Eve” on TODAY and chatted with the hosts about some of her favorite holiday traditions and Blake Shelton. She looked incredible in a white dress with flowing locks and red lips and was accompanied by her band including backup singers and strings. The performances were beautiful and we’re super impressed with how well the songs translate live.

She shared that it was difficult for her picking which classic covers to have on her album and said that “Jingle Bells” was a last-minute addition.

Gwen apparently also performed more songs in the studio including “Jingle Bells” which may air at a later date.

We’re excited to see more of Gwen this week including her appearance on The Tonight Show tomorrow (November 21) and her performance for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday (November 23).

Check out the performances and interview below. TODAY also shared a few photos from on-set.
