Surprise! People announced today that Gwen is set to perform another special solo concert in New York City at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, October 17. Gwen shared in a press release saying, “Working with MasterCard to surprise my fans and deliver something truly unique and unpredictable has been a really special part of this year. I look forward to another amazing experience on stage in New York.”

Pre-sale tickets are available starting tomorrow, Wednesday, exclusively to select MasterCard card holders for $79 each. Tickets for all members will go on-sale starting Friday.

Gwen performed earlier this year in Los Angeles for her MasterCard Priceless Surprises campaign and treated lucky fans to a full solo set including her brand new song, “Start A War”. We’re excited for all of the fans who get to attend and hopefully Gwen surprises us again in New York!

  1. Wow I didn’t expect this MasterCard thing to continue since we haven’t heard anything about it since February… but it’s cool that there will be another show. Maybe she’ll perform a new song like she did with SAW last time. I don’t think this show really means that there will be a release soon, though. Maybe, maybe not. We’ll see…

  2. I just hope she releases some of those live performances as B-sides/bonus tracks. I’d love to have Start A War (Live) too.

  3. It would be smart to tape as release it, since there’s nothing “new” in the near future and she could use some sort of promotion for her music, aside from The Voice. The LA concert was a big production, so it would be waste not to market that for the non-privileged fans 🙂

  4. Cool, on my daughters bday! Too bad I left NY a year ago. Wahhh would have loved to go to this show. Who knows about new music release, I don’t have my hopes up. I am wondering if they show will be similar to the LA show, or completely new costumes and stage sets. I am leaning towards similar due to budget restraints. I am very excited to see what’s up Gwen’s sleeves.
