Gwen Featured on New Tribute Single “Hands” (Updated)

Interscope has shared a moving lyric video for the tribute single to it’s YouTube page.

Gwen is featured with a number of other notable artists on an new impactful and meaningful tribute single “Hands” which benefits the Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund, the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, and GLAAD. Artists came together in the wake of the tragedy in Orlando last month and the single is available exclusively on iTunes.

“Hands” was written by Truth collaborators Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter with BloodPop®. Gwen opens up the song with Britney Spears.

“Proceeds from the sale of the new tribute single in the United States will benefit Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund, the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, and GLAAD.

“Hands,” is a musical tribute to the 49 victims of the shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The track features Mary J Blige, Jason Derulo, Britney Spears, Tyler Glenn, Selena Gomez, Halsey, Ty Herndon, Imagine Dragons, Juanes, Adam Lambert, Mary Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles, Kacey Musgraves, MNEK, Alex Newell, P!nk, Prince Royce, Nate Ruess, RuPaul, Troye Sivan, Jussie Smollett, Gwen Stefani, and Meghan Trainor.”

Billboard shares that “funds from the song will aid families with medical care, counseling and will also be used for education.”

We think it’s incredible for Gwen to be involved with the single and we hope it raises awareness and a lot of money for the families and organizations affected by the tragedy.

  1. This is awesome and once again proof that Gwen is associated with the right people. The song was written by Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels 🙂 hearing Gwen on such a sensitive and necessary song is really beautiful.

  2. It’s a good cause and it is good exposure for everyone involved. Musically this is not my cupmof tea at all.

    Is it just me or is it really hard to recognize Gwen between Britney and Meghan? They all sound the same to me. So weird.
