Updated: Gwen Collaborating with Urban Decay on New Makeup Collection

Update!

Urban Decay has announced that their upcoming collaboration with Gwen, The UD | Gwen Stefani Collection, will be launching on November 22!

Update!

StyleCaster reached out to Wende Zomnir about the collaboration and said that it was something that herself and Gwen wanted to do for the last twenty years. “It was never the right time, until it was.”

She also shared that Gwen is invested in the project and was really hands-on during the development process. “We spent four or five months working on this together. We wanted to get every detail right. And Gwen was into it; she wasn’t like, here are the shades I like, go make it happen. She tested every single one. She’s a makeup person, and she’s a cool person.”

Makeup guru and Urban Decay co-founder Wende Zomnir announced that the company is partnering with Gwen for a new makeup collection! She shares, “I’ve been a fan of Gwen’s since we met in the early days of No Doubt and I’m so excited to announce our collaboration! We’ve created some amazing makeup together and I can’t wait to share it with you. #UDxGwen”.

In March, Urban Decay partnered with Gwen to launch The Ultraviolet Edge, a special limited edition collection of products that benefited different organizations while empowering women all over the world.

It was also announced in January that Gwen was working on a new line of lipsticks so we’re curious if Urban Decay is behind the upcoming collection. No other details or release dates have been shared at this time. We’re really excited for Gwen (and ourselves!) for the makeup collaboration and we promise to keep everyone updated with the latest!

  1. We are finally getting a decent shade of Gwen’s red signature. I do have the one she uses from Dior, but it will be exciting to have her take on it. Just like the red polish from OPI 🙂
