Flashback Friday: No Doubt Live in London 1997

For this week’s Flashback Friday, we’re looking back at a few highlights from No Doubt’s stop in England at the London Astoria II theater back on February 18, 1997.

The band stopped in London on an early stop on their Tragic Kingdom European club tour and put on a great show with their hits and covers and “Pawn Shop” and “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da”. Before hitting the road for their US tour later in the spring, fans from over the pond were treated to “You Can Do It”, which the band seemed to retire from the set shortly after (which is a bummer cause it’s pretty rocking live!)

A high-quality version of “Just a Girl” from this show appears on the “Sunday Morning” imported single.

Enjoy and we’ll do our best to bring back our features to the site weekly! Unfortunately only a few of the songs were found on YouTube but you can view the rest of the set below.

    1. Ego probably isn’t the right word. I wish we could edit LOL I meant that they were just enjoying the ride because they didn’t know how long it would last.

  1. I’d give my left arm to have been able to see them at that time But I was young and my parents wouldn’t allow it.
Love their crazy energy, ND really gave every show their 100%!
You can do it live is really good, there is a high quality live version from Sweden on YouTube that’s worth checking out !
