Flashback Friday: Live on David Letterman

For this week’s edition of Flashback Friday, we’re looking back at the band’s appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman over the years. The band gave #ThanksDave this past week to the TV legend as he stepped away from his show to retire after 33 years.

No Doubt first played on the Late Show back on March 28, 1996 with “Just a Girl” and returned less than a year later with “Spiderwebs” (where Gwen famously jumped on the furniture). Gwen also performed alongside Moby for “Southside” in 2000 as well as 2004 with “Hollback Girl”. She also sat down for an interview with Dave for the first time to her new solo album.

Enjoy!

“Just a Girl” (3/28/1996)

“Spiderwebs” (1/23/1997)

“Simple Kind of Life” (6/21/2000)

“Southside” (Moby feat. Gwen Stefani) (11/6/2000)

  1. “Music is my fire!” Hmmm…how things change.

She was so cute and charming! There’s no one like her!
