Flashback Friday: In Sixty Interview

For this week’s edition of Flashback Friday, we’re looking back at a great hour-long televised special interview with No Doubt that aired for Canada’s MuchMusic In Sixty from November 2012. Filmed while in New York in the summer of 2012, the band were promoting Push and Shove and discussed the making of the album, getting back on the radio and how far they’ve all come in their lives and careers, including Gwen’s solo work, and bringing that dynamic back to the band.

It’s a really incredible interview and a definite highlight from the Push and Shove era. Enjoy!

  1. They all looked so great here… it’s a bit sad really that they were so happy and confident with the album.. I love the P&S album! They had lots of live performances thinking back but everything wasn’t set up right, they performed Looking Hot on X Factor in the UK but the single wasn’t even able to be bought at the time, which made it pointless from a sales point of view.. I hold a lot down to the pulling of the Looking Hot video.. I think that beautiful video and all the song promo could’ve really been the start of the P&S era’s success but after the video-pull, it really did just all sort of end really for this era in my opinion.

  2. I ended up really liking the album and I listen to it often. I disagree about their confidence in it though. They always acted like it was such a chore to make it.
