  1. Question: Though full streams will be embedded on the site (once available), would you like to see posts featuring all the auditions or just Team Gwen picks?

  2. the t-shirts she gave out was the only part i didnt like, its too cheesy, are they all gonna show up with the tshirts? or feel obligated to wear them lol when she handed it to that guy it was like a mom and her son being embarrassed lollol

  3. I absolutely loved every minute of the show! Gwen did awesome as did Pharell and all of the coaches have great chemistry. I may be bias (love gwen!) but after seeing all six seasons I think this is the best judging panel the show has seen! Not to mention I have never seen the coaches fight so hard for an artist (loved how gwen used her career longetvity as a reference like everytime haha) Cannot wait to see the rest of the season! I think Gwen is going to gain a lot more fans from this experience.

  4. I remember this cd I once bought back in like 1999, and it was just a compilation of ND interviews. I remember one being Gwen talking about when she was starting off when Just a Girl was coming out. The DJ said, “I remember that even before TK you had a some loyal fans who’d call and request you and I had to tell them we would play it, but we didn’t have any of the songs here, and they said they’d send us stuff but it never came.” Gwen laughed and said, “That was probably us!”

They all laughed but she continued (explaining she wasn’t kidding!) and said something like, “When JaG was coming out, I’d call the station over and over, and be like, ‘Oh my God! It’s ringing!’ because I didn’t expect it to not be a busy signal, and then they’d ask what I wanted to hear, and I’d say, ‘‘Just a Girl’ by No Doubt’ and they’d be like, ‘Sure! And what’s your name?’ and I’d be like, ‘Gwen! I mean… uh… Glen.’”

I think that long trail to stardom would really capture the contestants as they can relate and see that she knows what it’s like being a nobody and following your passion to the top. I don’t think she is explaining enough about her early early days, because that is how she will relate to them the best.

  5. Do the contestants get to choose the song they perform? Not to be shady but, Celebrity Skin seems like a bad choice if your going for Team Gwen…

  6. Sarah I totally agreed. Picking Hole’s song and then claiming to be a huge Gwen fan was laughable. My friend said its because Im the odd stalker that I would know that one.

  7. i thought the same thing! “how could she be singing a hole song & want gwen?!” but she just gave off the vibe that she wasnt authentic with it…like an Avril type. the out fit, hair, etc etc like it wasnt really her. so at the same time im not surprised she didnt know

  8. The whole segment with the girl who sang The Hole song was awkward. First of all, I am pretty sure that song makes Gwen shudder (not in a good way). As other have said, bad choice! Second, the girl did not have a “good voice” and as we all know Gwen is not a “technically gifted” singer herself and she knows it. She has a unique character voice and a natural star presence and we love her for that. With that said, maybe Gwen was thinking if she was on stage, no one would of turned around for her. It was uncomfortable. I never thought I would say this because I hate singing competitions but am loving watching The Voice! I really like the coaches banter and Gwen is awesome to watch on the show.

  9. I can already tell I’m going to get behind on this show, but I finally watched the premiere week!

I think she has a real winner with the acoustic guy who did the Kanye West song. BTW, does everyone do that song? Geez LOL

I’m glad she didn’t pick the Hole girl. Not a great voice. I’m not impressed with the Problem singer either, but maybe Gwen can work on toning down her vocal acrobats.

The JAG part was a little much for me. I love the t-shirt thing.

Pharrell is amazing and so logical. I love him! I’m surprised they all don’t choose him for his songwriting/producing abilities!

Blake is really funny. I find Adam really annoying.
