New Layout Up On BSO! Let Us Know What You Think!

Well, here it is! Christina and I have been working on it for the last few weeks and we think it turned out great! It features high quality photos from the 2009 backdrop during the “Bathwater” set on tour. We are still working on some kinks, like the side content and above content, but it will look perfect by the end of the weekend! We were just so excited we wanted to get it up for everyone! It’s a huge change for us, and we’re sure everyone is going to love it! Thank you again to the band and our visitors over the years that keep inspiring us to grow! The rest of the year is going to be huge for No Doubt and BSO — hope everyone is ready! Let us know what you think either by commenting or leaving a message in the bandhouse! And let us know if there are any more features or content you would like to see on BSO!

  1. Wow, this layout is amazing. I love that it’s simple and sleek, yet creative. It’s very easy to navigate!

One small comment…the top line “12 Years of ND and GS News And Number One Fan Site” could be worded better…. 🙂

  2. It looks great Jenny! I specially love the colours and the pink message box. Just a suggestion. Maybe you should consider a layer/box of colour for each post, for example 60% — 80% Black? Or why not a different colour like blue, orange, pink or yellow for each post? You know, white text on black background really hurts people’s eyes after a while. Thanks

  3. I LOVE IT!!!

However, I find the font too small to read comfortably! and the font at the side is too small and italic like.

Apart from the font not being too clear for me, it’s awesome and I love it — well done! 😀

  4. NDlover, thank you for the tips! We are still working on finalizing everything, and that sounds like a good suggestion. Black has always been tough for me to work with, that’s why I haven’t had one in such a long time. We’re still playing around with it. 🙂

  5. Hannah, I’m glad you like it! We are still playing around with fonts, but we wanted to try something smaller so we’ll see if more people are having trouble reading it as well. Thanks for the suggestion!

  6. nice colors but I don’t understand the enormous banner you have. also, I find the font hard to read.

but I love the site and appreciate all the work you put into it.

  7. Love it! the font is a bit small though. But otherwise is perfect!! I wish I could learn how to make web pages!!

  8. I totally agree with Amanda and NDlover, but for “still playing around” you’ve done a great job! Can’t wait to see the result.

  9. Sounds good! and it’s ok. I can make the screen bigger so it’s not too much of a problem I suppose 😀

Just carry on playing around with it, I’m sure it’ll all be sorted and awesome for everyone! Great work!

  10. I love it especially this beautifully colored comment box that I am typing into right now 🙂

I would definitely recommend not doing white text on black though… it’s way too hard to read and hurts my eyes. Please consider changing it. Also, the super condensed font in the header is difficult to read.

It looks really good though. Thank you for always keeping up with it and being the #1 ND site on the web!

  11. I’m sorry you feel that way, Shirley. We haven’t had a darker layout in a few years, so it’s a nice change. I have been always been afraid to use to black, but I wanted to give it a try. I’m glad you like the banner, that’s my favorite part, too. 🙂

  12. love it 😀 really creative, but like other people have said the fonts a bit small, which wouldnt be a problem but the browser i use doesnt let me zoom in :S but anyway, great job!

  13. Hi, great job with the site!. Could you please consider putting ‘next’ and ‘prev’ links when viewing invidual posts because it makes it so much easier to navigate. Keep up the brilliant work!
